Too Many Books

Can such a thing be possible? Of course not :) But what I mean by the heading of this post is reading too many books at once.

Now that it's summer, I have not only more free time but also a great deal of summer reading in addition to my regular reading to accomplish. As a result, I am somehow juggling five books at once, which at first I thought I would not be able to handle.

Surprisingly, though, I haven't found it to be that confusing, perhaps because some of the books are nonfiction and the novels are distinguishable enough that I don't overlap the books in my mind at all.

What about you? Do you have problems reading too many books at once? Do you prefer just reading one book at a time without any interruptions from other books?

I totally do! I read three books at once right now. They're all for review, which is a bit stressful. I wish I had time for a book of my own or a library book, but I just don't. Oops!

For a while, I was reading seven or eight books at once, and that was TOO MANY.

I'd like to read one at a time again, but that's a problem when I hit a boring one I need to finish; I'll just stop reading. Sigh.

Of course you can never have too many books, lol! :)

I seem to always be reading loads of books at the same time... I don't know why, I just find myself in the middle of several different books at the same time. Like, I might be reading this one book at one time, but then I'll be in my room and I'll see this other book on my shelf which I just feel like reading, so I'll start that book even though I'm in the middle of another one...

Right now, I think I'm reading...err...four? books at the moment... Sweetly by Jackson Pearce (cos it's due back at the library soon), Secrets of The Henna Girl (because I took it and started it when I went abroad on a school trip last week because it was fairly light), The Brotherhood Of Piaxia by Michael Drakich (for review) and Propheticus (for a review/blog tour) And I'm also in the middle of at least another three other books, which I've read some of, but have kind of temporarily stopped reading...?? I don't know, I'm kinda snowed under by books!! (Not a bad thing!)

;)xxx

We prefer to read 1 at a time -- easier for our brains to keep straight! -- but it does sometimes happen that we are in the middle of one book when we get our hands on another and we just can't wait to start it.
